A New Year With Binaural Beats Meditations

Starting Off The New Year With New Habits Using Binaural Beats

Mind Clutter and Binaural BeatsI don’t know about you but I’m always looking for ways to improve. Binaural beats was a great way to get that ball rolling so to speak, and keep it rolling.

Now, into the first part of the year I’ve come up with a plan of sorts. A way using binaurals and isochronics to change or rather add some new habits to my life this year.

According to Dr. Joseph Murphy the writer of “The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind”, it takes 21 days to form a new habit. If you haven’t read this book, and it’s been around for a long time, you should. If you ever wanted to know how to improve your life, change it in any way, this might be the answer to the “how to”part. So along with using some of the other binaural beats meditations I have I’ll be making some of my own to form some new habits.

The theory behind this being that by adding new so called good habits, it will outweigh some of the bad ones that have somehow accumulated over the years. You know the ones I mean right? We all have them. Habits like procrastination, laziness etc that seem to take away from living life to it’s fullest.

I figure by the end of the year I can have added about 17 new habits that will enhance my life and the way I live it.And by enhancing and improving my life that will rub off on those I mingle and associate with, thus helping to improve their lives as well.

Pretty lofty I know, but it’s a test I’m willing to take.Let’s see how it goes. So for the first one of the year I’ve been working on the procrastination habit. Changing it instead to being excited about what I am doing and reinforcing the “do it now” approach when that is the real goal.

Not putting things off like phone calls to friends, actually writing a letter, getting that  new client, going on that trip.

I’ve loaded my phone with isochronic tones and binaural beats meditations that I can do while walking the dog, or walking anywhere actually. Along with the same ones loaded into my computer that I can run in the background while I work.I’ll also be making sure that I do at least a half hour of  meditation a day, first thing in the morning.

cluttered desk This has proved to work in the past so I see no reason why it won’t work now with a more determined focus. The first part of this year has so far been extremely focused on clearing out the old.

Not only physical things like removing the clutter and things that are no longer needed, but the mental as well. Clearing out my thoughts, finding all the things that clutter my mind and distract me and seeing what needs to be replaced.

Do you have any part of your life you’d like to improve upon? Leave a comment below and if you’re using binaural beats or isochronic tones let me know how they’re helping you in your life.
